As Assistant Director, Innovations at LGC Grant Management Group, I am actively involved in the NIHR i4i Programme, SBRI Healthcare, the AI in Health and Care Award and NHS England Cancer Innovation Programme. I manage a portfolio of funded projects and talk to many innovators in the HealthTech sector, signposting entrepreneurs from SMEs, the NHS and academia to appropriate support for funding, expertise, collaborators or support for clinical studies.
A Chemist by training, I am named on 38 patent applications from my time at Kodak and GE Healthcare R&D. In my spare time, I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a member of UKRI Peer Review College, some External Advisory Boards and I am a mentor for two UKRI Future Leaders Fellows, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and KQ Labs Accelerator.
