Dr Bhogal is a consultant interventional neuroradiologist at the Royal London Hospital. As the Mechanical Thrombectomy Network lead he helped to develop the thrombectomy service at Royal London Hospital to become the largest thrombectomy service in the UK. The service is on target to perform over 300 MT procedures this year. In addition he helped develop the largest AI assisted stroke network in the UK which facilitates rapid patient selection and transfer. He is a very active researcher with over 160 peer reviewed publications and a H-index of 30. He holds a PhD from Warwick university. He is the founder of the BRAIN conference, the largest conference dedicated to interventional neuroradiology, in the UK and showcases advanced technology in this sphere.
