This session will provide a review of the main types of IP, including patents, designs and trademarks, and how they can be used to protect your medtech innovations. The session will include discussion around developing a coherent IP strategy and how best to add value to your company with IP. 

The talk will also include considerations for start-ups with IP, and a review of the types of software and AI innovations that can be protected using patents and other types of IP across Europe, the US and beyond, given the increase in software and AI in medtech.
